Description
This project was a comprehensive undertaking focused on enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of the Auditorium’s seating area. To begin, we embarked on an intricate preparation phase, which involved the precision of shot blasting the floor surface. This meticulous process not only removed any existing imperfections but also created an optimal surface profile, laying the foundation for the coating system’s long-lasting performance.
Following the surface preparation, we applied a high-performance 100% solids epoxy primer. This primer not only served as a robust adhesive base but also significantly contributed to the overall durability and resilience of the flooring. It provided a strong bond between the substrate and the subsequent layers of the coating system, ensuring its stability and longevity.
The final touch to elevate the Auditorium’s flooring was the application of a tinted urethane topcoat. In this topcoat, we introduced iron oxide for added slip resistance, enhancing safety for the Auditorium’s patrons. Beyond functionality, this layer also added a touch of sophistication and style to the space, blending aesthetics with practicality.
