Project Description
A school that serves its youngest students cannot shut down for long. Work has to stay on schedule, stay clean, and withstand years of heavy foot traffic. This commercial painting project in Grand Rapids, MI, met that test at the Woodcliff Early Childhood Center. H&H Painting Co. repainted many existing classrooms, primed and painted a new classroom wing, and refinished 20 wood doors to match the new doors going in across the building.
Older doors were worn and stained, so each one was stripped, sanded, re-stained, and resealed in our shop, then delivered back ready to hang. The finished interior looks consistent across old and new rooms and is built to take daily wear. The job ran about 10 months, from October 2024 to August 2025.
Among painting contractors in Grand Rapids, H&H Painting Co. has completed institutional repaints in buildings that stay open, which takes careful timing and tidy work.

Result of Commercial Painting in Grand Rapids, MI
Before the work, the school had a mix of worn paint and old, stained doors that did not match the new construction. Afterward, the interior reads as a single finished building. Walls in the existing classrooms and the new wing carry an even, clean finish. The 20 refinished doors match the new doors hung across the school, so there is no patchwork of old and new. Exposed ceilings are coated and uniform, and the painted cloud graphics give corridors and classrooms a calm, finished look. The space is ready for students, and the finishes are designed to withstand heavy daily use. This commercial painting in Grand Rapids, MI combined interior wall work, door refinishing, and block wall painting on a single schedule.
